Compare two Wi-Fi 6E upgrade routes by computer fit, antenna placement and installation effort.

The Archer TXE70UH and TXE75E both offer a route to Wi-Fi 6E, but they connect to the computer differently. The TXE70UH is an external USB adapter; the TXE75E is a PCIe desktop card. That distinction can decide the purchase before any speed comparison is relevant.
Identify the computer’s available interface
A laptop with a supported USB port may accept an external adapter without internal service work. A desktop can accommodate a PCIe card only when it has a suitable accessible slot and case clearance. Do not buy a card for an all-in-one computer simply because the machine runs Windows.
Compare placement options
TP-Link documents a USB cradle arrangement for the TXE70UH and an external antenna base for the TXE75E. Both can help move the radio hardware or antennas away from an inconvenient position behind a computer. The supplied cable lengths and practical desk layout matter.
Check the additional functions
The TXE75E includes Bluetooth functionality in its documented configuration, with an internal header cable in the package. Do not assume the TXE70UH provides Bluetooth merely because both products improve wireless connectivity. Verify each required function independently.
Review support and revision
- Exact model and hardware revision.
- Supported operating-system version.
- Current regional driver availability.
- 6 GHz availability for the complete platform.
- Manufacturer installation instructions.
Choose the lower-friction fit
Favor the USB route when portability and avoiding case work are priorities on a supported computer. Favor the PCIe route when the desktop has suitable space and the integrated feature set matches the need.
This is an installation and specification comparison, not a claim of a measured performance winner. During the return window, test the actual desk location, sleep recovery and application workload. A stable supported adapter with sensible placement is more useful than a theoretically faster configuration that the computer cannot install or maintain reliably.
